Crispina Ffrench is an environmental optimist and textile alchemist upcycling discarded clothing, manufacturers’ waste since her college days in the 80’s.

It all started as she was working her way through art school out of her need to make money around her other two jobs and full-time class schedule – and her love of making with her hands.

Ragamuffins got her through school and set her on the magical path self employment that has carried her through life.

Building awareness of our textile waste problem without blame, anxiety, or panic; Promoting environmental support that nurtures us humans too; Inspiring others to wrap their heads around the effect of their consumption, but more the effect of their positive action are the things that rock her world most.
