What triggers you?
As I sit here, pondering the intricacies of life, I am reminded of the profound impact that triggers can have on our existence. Triggers, those seemingly innocuous moments that set off a cascade of emotions and actions, can indeed be powerful catalysts for change, growth, and positivity.
But triggers aren't always serene and picturesque. Sometimes, they come in the form of lightning storms, volcanic eruptions, or torrential rain, unleashing a torrent of emotions within us. Yet, even in the midst of chaos, there is beauty to be found. The raw power of Nature reminds us of our own strength and resilience, urging us to weather the storms of life with courage and determination.
As I reflect on these triggers, I am reminded of the wisdom of Sharon Sauer, trigger therapist and our special guest speaker this week on A Dose of Positivity. Sharon has dedicated her life to helping others overcome physical and emotional challenges using her world-renowned specialized techniques.
I remember a time when I let my triggers control me, allowing fear, anger and doubt to hold me back. But through Sharon's guidance, healthy eating, Nature therapy, and other natural healing modalities, and, of course, the support of loved ones, I've learned to embrace my triggers as opportunities for growth and transformation. Instead of shying away from them, I now lean into them, using them as fuel to propel me towards my goals.
It's not always easy, of course. There are still moments when the storm clouds gather overhead, threatening to overwhelm me with doubt and uncertainty. But in those moments, I remind myself of the power of positivity and the strength that lies within me. With each passing storm, I emerge stronger and more resilient, ready to face whatever challenges life may throw my way.
In the end, it's not about avoiding triggers or suppressing our emotions. It's about embracing them fully, knowing that they are an integral part of the human experience. So here's to the sunset, the lightning storms, and everything in between.
