Katya Miller, a researcher, writer, metalsmith, and peace activist, is honored with a research fellowship to craft a book on the Statue of Freedom atop the US Capitol dome, offered by the U.S. Capitol Historical Society and Architect of the Capitol. With her expertise, Miller aims to shed light on the statue's historical and symbolic importance, enriching our understanding of American heritage and ideals in a peaceful context.
