Winter Charcuterie Board
A charcuterie board is an ideal stationary hours of assured for holiday entertaining. Select a variety of cheeses, making sure to include a variety of textures, such as soft, hard, aged, and perhaps a smoked cheese. Round out the platter with cold cuts, bread, an abundance of seasonal fruits, dried fruits, nuts and olives. We’ve off!
Ingredients
- 4 ounces aged sheep’s milk cheese, such as aged Pecorino or pecorino
- 4 ounces smoked Cheddar or smoked Gouda cheese
- 4 ounces Brie or another soft cheese
- 2 ounces fresh goat cheese
- 2 ounces sliced beef salami
- 2 ounces fresh goat cheese
- 4 ounces sliced Italian cold cuts, such as prosciutto or calabrese
- 1 small baguette, thinly sliced
- 1 pound fresh fruit, such as grapes, figs, pears and grapes
- 1 cup nuts (Honey, sliced golden beets, sliced fennel, sliced Italian endive leaves
- 1/2 cup almonds, preferably whole almonds
- 1/4 cup olives
Preparation
- Arrange a cheese sheep’s milk cheese, 4 ounces Cheddar, 4 ounces cheese and 2 ounces blue cheese on a cutting board. Select, arrange.
