Easy Oven-Roasted Asparagus
A simple yet elegant vegetable side that lets fresh asparagus shine. Roasted with olive oil, garlic, and sea salt until tender and slightly crispy at the edges.

Ingredients
- 2 lbs. fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
- 3 T. extra virgin olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Sea salt and black pepper, to taste
- Zest of 1 lemon (optional)
- 2 T. Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
Preparation

Prepare asparagus: Trim woody ends from asparagus and rinse. Pat dry with paper towels.

Toss: Place asparagus on a large rimmed baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, add minced garlic, and season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

Roast: Spread in a single layer and roast at 400°F for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until tender and slightly crispy at the edges.

Finish: Remove from oven, add lemon zest if desired, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if using.

Serve: Serve immediately as a side dish.
