Try this refreshing appetizer. We wrap fresh slices of cucumber around cream cheese mixed with fresh chives and dill. You can easily wrap and serve the fresh herbs in exchange for the fresh herbs in exchange for the fresh herbs. Just use flavored cream cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 large English cucumber
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons low-fat plain strained yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons sliced fresh chives
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper

Preparation

  • Trim ends off cucumber, cut an 8-inch length from the cucumber (reserve remaining cucumber). Using a vegetable peeler, slice the cucumber lengthwise into a sheet about 8 inches wide.
